The East Midlands Deanery is committed to providing comprehensive support to International Medical Graduates (IMGs) as they transition into the UK healthcare system. We understand the challenges IMGs face and hence offer tailored resources, guidance, and professional development opportunities to aid your development.
Tailored support
As part of our endeavour to offer continuous and personalised support for IMGs, we offer a variety of services at every stage of their journey ranging from navigating the application process to integrating into clinical practice. Our team is here to help with:

Portfolio development: Assisting IMGs in developing and enhancing their portfolios, which are essential for career progression.

Workshops and training: Offering specialized courses to enhance professional skills, including clinical practice and communication, support with clinical exams and training applications.

Networking opportunities: Connecting IMGs with a community of peers and mentors for continued growth and support.
